He left the museum world to obtain a Master in Public Health degree at NYU, where his research focused on sexual health, substance use, and queer identity development. Adrian's introduction to GLSEN began when working in a South Carolina children's museum, where he used GLSEN's school climate research to demonstrate the need for LGBTQ-affirming museum programming, policies, and practices.
